Meet Gemini Saga Ikigai, the Gemini’s Gold Saint also known as Pope Ares, in the Sanctuary Arc as he greets Seiya in the Pope’s room, attempting to help him saving Athena. Transforming him into a Machiavellian tyrant, he is propeling the transparent resin ball of energy contained in his right hand intended to destroy Seiya. The Saint is protected by the Gemini Cloth with golden and metallic reflections, representing the constellation Gemini, in reference to the Dioscuri twin brothers Castor and Pollux, sons of Zeus. Under the force of his assault, the temple slabs shatter, while the colors and textures of the decor and the collapsing column behind him echo the Sanctuary and Gemini Temple, where he intends to quench his thirst for chaos …
