(PPDC) officers wear this sleek metal badge to signify that they are the best and the brightest enlisted to defeat the monstrous Kaiju menace that has returned to threaten our world. All the pilots of the giant robots known as Jaegers wear this badge on their uniforms.

As seen in the film Pacific Rim Uprising, this badge is made of hand burnished metal, with the PPDC eagle logo in the center and stylized wings on either side.
